SAE O-Ring Boss ORB Male x NPTF Pipe, Female Swivel NPSM Adapter. 6900 ORB steel adapters correspond to the following: Weatherhead 9315, Aeroquip 2066, SAE 140157, Parker 0507. Material Composition: Fittings from forged or cast pressure resistant carbon steel with a zinc-trivalent anti-corrosion coating. JIC SAE 37° and SAE ORB (O-Ring Boss) conform to SAE J514 technical specifications. This straight thread connection uses the same threads as the JIC 37° . However the 37° flare has been removed and an o-ring has been added. When mated with a female o-ring boss port the o-ring is trapped in a special tapered counter bore to affect the seal.
