Insl-X's Prime Lock Plus Alkyd Primer/Sealer, a high-hiding, alkyd-based interior primer and stain blocker, is also suitable for spot priming exterior surfaces. It excels on plaster, drywall, wood, and previously painted or varnished surfaces, and can be top-coated with any oil or latex paint. Use it as a primer before applying most wall coverings, as it adheres well to glossy surfaces. It effectively blocks bleed-through from fire and smoke damage, water stains, wood tannin, crayon, lipstick, ballpoint pen, and felt pad inks. Severe stains may require an additional coat of Prime Lock Plus before applying the finish coat.
