REAC® Technology: An Innovative Approach to Lipedema

Lipedema is a chronic condition characterized by the abnormal and symmetrical accumulation of adipose tissue, primarily in the lower limbs, accompanied by pain, edema, and chronic inflammation. This condition, which predominantly affects women, is often associated with metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and circulatory dysfunctions.

The REAC Biomodulatory Approach

REAC® Technology treatments represent an innovative, non-invasive approach to managing lipedema, based on the modulation of cellular bio-electric activity. Through asymmetrically conveyed radio-electric fields, REAC® Technology acts at a cellular level to restore homeostasis and promote endogenous repair processes.

REAC medical devices, such as the BENE Mod 110, utilize specific tissue optimization protocols that have proven particularly effective for conditions related to lipedema.

REAC Protocols for Lipedema

  1. Anti-Inflammatory Anti-Cellulite Treatment (TO-ACT)
The ACT protocol goes beyond aesthetics to directly address chronic tissue inflammation, a key factor in the pathogenesis of lipedema. Recent studies have shown that this protocol:
    • Reduces systemic and localized inflammation
    • Improves microcirculation and lymphatic drainage
    • Enhances skin elasticity and the biomechanical properties of subcutaneous tissue
    • Promotes tissue repair
  1. Circulatory Optimization (TO-CO)
The CO protocol is essential for addressing the circulatory dysfunctions associated with lipedema:
    • Improves blood flow and tissue perfusion
    • Reduces edema and supports lymphatic drainage
    • Optimizes microcirculation
    • Alleviates the feeling of heaviness in the limbs
  1. Metabolic Optimization (TO-MO)

The MO protocol targets the metabolic dysregulation characteristic of lipedema:
    • Restores cellular metabolic balance
    • Improves energy efficiency
    • Supports weight management
    • Reduces insulin resistance

Scientific Evidence

Recent studies published in peer-reviewed journals have documented significant results in patients with lipedema-related conditions treated with REAC® Technology-based protocols:

  • Chronic Pain Reduction: In patients with metabolic syndrome and edema, the combination of ACT, CO, and MO protocols led to a reduction in pain intensity from 10/10 to 5/10, eliminating the need for morphine for pain management.
  • Improvement in Edema and Circulation: Patients with chronic lower limb edema showed significant reductions in swelling, accompanied by improvements in skin appearance, with decreased erythema and enhanced tissue elasticity.
  • Weight Loss and Metabolic Optimization: Treatments facilitated weight loss of up to 7 kg in elderly patients with morbid obesity and metabolic syndrome, with a reduction in abdominal circumference and improved body composition.
  • Systemic Benefits: Beyond local improvements, patients reported significant enhancements in sleep quality, mood stability, energy levels, and overall quality of life.

 Beyond Treatment: Research and Collaboration

Our participation in the Lipedema World Congress 2025 is also an opportunity to:

  • Foster Research Collaborations: Establish new partnerships with international centers of excellence for large-scale controlled clinical trials.
  • Share Knowledge: Contribute to the scientific dialogue on new therapeutic frontiers for lipedema.
  • Develop Protocols: Collaborate with international experts to further optimize treatment protocols.
  • Provide Professional Training: Offer training opportunities on REAC technology to interested healthcare professionals.

The Future of Lipedema Treatment

Lipedema is an often underdiagnosed and undertreated condition affecting millions of women worldwide. The innovative approach of REAC® Technology, which simultaneously addresses inflammation, circulation, and metabolism, represents a promising therapeutic option that can significantly improve patients’ quality of life.

Preliminary studies show encouraging results not only in reducing local symptoms but also in systemically improving metabolic health, circulatory function, and psychological well-being. These multidimensional benefits are particularly relevant for a complex condition like lipedema, which requires an integrated therapeutic approach.

A Personalized Medicine Approach

REAC® Technology fits perfectly within the paradigm of personalized medicine by promoting endogenous repair processes and restoring cellular bio-electric balance. This approach respects the body’s natural physiological mechanisms, supporting them rather than overriding them.

The Lipedema World Congress 2025 is the ideal platform to present this innovation to the international scientific community and gather feedback from leading experts, thereby contributing to the evolution of therapeutic strategies for lipedema.
